As mentioned before Claes Oldenburg was an American Pop artist who was known for public art installations featuring everyday objects. Many of his works were made in collaboration with his wife Coosje van Bruggen. Some of his work are as follows.
He also was an expert in food replicas which is why I was inspired to make my plate of rice. This plate of rice was made using clay, paper, sequins, regiform and throw away coconut remains (POL-KUDU)
